The UK has a large and vibrant marine cargo insurance industry located in major cities across the nation, but cargo business is, by its nature, global. Cargo is an enormous part of the insurance market and we hope that the International Cargo Insurance Conference (ICIC) reflects the transformations in technology, demography, consumer needs and laws that continue to challenge our industry in this sector.
Who are we? The annual conference and additional ICIC events are organised by our committee which comprises of London market professionals from differing areas of insurance, in addition to their day jobs. Since our 2014 inception, the ICIC committee have dynamically sought to create an annual conference as inclusive as possible and open to the wide marine cargo insurance sector. The ICIC committee’s primary ambition is to provide a neutral, professional and educational environment for cargo/transportation practitioners and to be of great importance throughout people’s careers.
