Keynote Spearker - John Lloyd O.B.E
John was a founding partner of Lloyd Thompson in 1981, Chairman of Lloyd Thompson Group PLC from 1993 until the merger with Jardine Insurance Brokers in 1997. He has subsequently been Chairman of JLT Risk Solutions, Chairman & CEO of Lloyd & Partners and more recently CEO of JLT Specialty until he retired from his executive role at the end of 2015. He remains with JLT in a senior advisory role. |

Marcus Baker - Chairman Global Marine Practice
Marcus' current role as Global Marine Practice Leader has him responsible for the Marine business lines globally (comprising marine cargo, marine hull, P&I, and liabilities) for Marsh. He was formally the CEO for Marsh’s Marine and Energy practice in EMEA. He has over 30 years’ experience in the industry, travelling extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia and has been involved in all aspects of the Global Marine & Energy book. With a successful record of business production and development in these areas, Marcus has been instrumental in developing innovative Marine products and solutions placed in the London, European and Global Insurance markets. As well as chairing the Marine Practice, Marcus also serves as a pension’s trustee for Marsh and McLennan Companies in the UK and is also a member of Marsh’s Presidents Council. |
